Contract Compensation Specialist

Job Description The temporary Compensation Specialist contributes to rue21's results by overseeing the day-to-day operations and administration of Compensation.
This is a 2-month contract position that reports into the Director of Compensation & Benefits and is located in our Warrendale, PA office.
Commits to supporting rue21's vision, mission, and values of an inclusive environment and sets an example for their team or sphere of influence.
Compensation:
o Approve and sign Store Associate pay increases via Employment Status Change Formso Receive and manage Position Change Forms for new positions, pay changes and promotionso Complete appropriate Compensation Analysis for new positions, pay changes and promotionso Prepare and provide promotion, wage change, title change letters, etc.
o Oversee administration of Federal, State & County Minimum Wage increases and changes to current Associateso Manage the completion and submission of annual Compensation surveyso Ensures compliance with FLSA, DOL, federal, state and local regulations regarding pay and compensationo Other Compensation projects & duties as assignedWorkers' Compensation/Customer Accidents/Safety:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
